Marissa is a Georgia native who holds a degree in Business from the University of North Georgia. Growing up, Marissa had a multifaceted background in both sports and community engagement, participating in youth basketball, cheerleading, and dance. Her commitment to helping others is evident through her volunteer work at her church, where she assistant-coached a youth cheerleading team and served as a leader for Vacation Bible School.
Her journey in fitness took a pivotal turn when she began working with youth at Bio Gymnastics in Cumming, Georgia. This experience paved the way for her role at Bio Ability, a facility dedicated to adaptive learning and physical therapy, allowing her to bring a unique perspective to coaching youth with special needs.
Originally hired at ReClif as our front desk coordinator, Marissa has expanded her duties to include coaching both special fit and yoga.
At ReClif, Marissa plays a crucial role in orchestrating events and fundraising efforts for the non-profit branch and furthering her dedication to community support. She reflects on her experience, saying…
“Finding ReClif was the start of something incredible for me. The same day I applied for a position here, I decided to drop by the facility just to see what it was all about and fell in love with the staff and programs almost immediately. I could see the passion and commitment of everyone, and it was amazing to see the excitement of clients coming in – I wanted to be part of ReClif right from the start. Having worked with youth for so many years both as a volunteer and coach, being here feels like home, and I truly enjoy the connection I have made with my clients and their families!”
